Worst fashion trends ever

Everyone loves to keep abreast of the latest fashion trends. Alas, some of these styles are only fleeting and won't even make it to the next season or won't come back, at all. Why? Because they are not exciting and look awful.

An example of a fashion trend that does not look attractive is the zoot suit. Zoot suits are outfits that do not fit their wearers at all. They are mostly too large and all over the place.

In the 18th-century, fashionable meant sporting long curls (wigs, mostly), spying glasses and small hats (chapeau bras). The macaronis, as they were called, belonged to the upper strata of society.

On the same note, we hope that ruffs will never return, ever on the fashion scene. This 1600 style looks distressing with a doily wrapped around the neck.

Another hideous fashion trend ever to hit the scene is the shell suit. It comes in different colours, but the effect is the same. Everyone who wears it looks shapeless and very unfashionable.
