Oscars 2014 Sandra Bullock Red Carpet Dress: our pick

Sandra Bullock has a beautiful petite figure and her best red carpet style is the long, figure-wrapping gown in precious, heavy textiles that highlight her silhouette. And her well-known elegance normally involves block colour and not too much fuss – a style which is neat and sophisticated.
We're thinking of the pearl white Marchesa dress, half see-through lace, princely and shimmery and fit for a mermaid, worn at the Academy Awards 2010 in Los Angeles. But also at the Alberta Ferretti she choose for the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala in New York City, in May 2007. Still one of our favourites, this latter was funked up version of the classic 'Jessica Rabbit' style evening dress in deep red and wavy veil.
She also looked amazing last year at the presentation of The Heat at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, wearing a one-shoulder dual-colour top with matching pants, part of the hot black&white trend of the Roland Mouret Spring 2013 collection – someone said the pants were too long for her, but we looked at the same outfit worn by a model at the runway show, and we must say it looked much better on Sandra!
So we thought of browsing the latest Fashion Weeks in search of a jumpsuit elegant enough for her, and of course we came across one of Bullock's favourite designer which we failed to name so fare: Stella McCartney.
Presented at Paris Fashion Week 2013, the sophisticated, snakeskin effect jumpsuit in terracotta and black is part of McCartney Spring- Summer 2014 collection. We believe that, in terms of colours and material, it would be just perfect for Sandra, and the elegant design would enhance her beautiful figure, the strong, well delineated arm, wide shoulders and thin waist.
