There are only few hours left before the highly anticipate annual 86th Academy Awards show!
We have already looked at what some of the nominated actress in other posts earlier this week, browsing through some of her most characteristic red carpet looks and trying to figure out what their choice will be for the red carpet of the Oscars on Sunday, 2 March 2014.
Least but not last, Amy Adam is the subject of today's red carpet dress pick. The American Hustle star has a fantastic body and elegant style. Long, retro' dresses look the best on her.
She looked stunning at the premier of American Hustle in New York wearing a sexy, sheer evening dress in black lace by Elie Saab. However, we prefer more classical looks for 39-year-old Hollywood actress, for instance the blush coloured silk gown by Marchesa with long, mermaid style skirt, or the sparkly midnight blue sequin L'Wren Scott number she picked for the 2011 Oscars awards ceremony.
And at last year's Academy Awards, the naturally ginger beau wore a preciously voluminous Oscar de la Renta dress in powder blue veil, which suited her regally.
However, to this day we cannot understand what in the world led her to wear a coral pink Rolan Mouret gown last month at the Critics' Choice Movie awards: no no no, Amy! Unsexy and unfalttering, in terms both of colours, which just don't fit her fair complexion and red hair, and design, high up and covering both arms and décolleté.
But for the 86th Academy Awards, we would love to see Amy Adams rocking the red carpet in the sleek black and swarowsky dress with white details on the décolleté by Milanese fashion designer Gianni Tolentino, presented at the last New York Fashion Week.
