No Doubt Kids will love these Clothes

Target has teamed up with former No Doubt singer-turned fashion designer Gwen Stefani in order to create a range of affordable clothes for babies, children and tweens.

The retailer released sneak preview shots of the campaign today and the range appears to bear all the hallmarks of Stefani’s L.A.M.B and Harajuku Lovers collections with Japanaese anime-inspired illustrations and vibrant colours featuring on cute tutus, tops and hoodies.

The star, 41, who poses in the photographs herself alongside a tiny young female model told WWD ‘Harajuku Mini is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan’.

The singer would have been doubtlessly been inspired by her own two young sons, Kingston, five and Zuma, three who are already showing adventurous senses of style. And considering her friendships with Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, they won’t be the only celebrity kids sporting her designs.

But there’s good news for non-celebrity parents too, the prices for Harajuku Mini will not burn too big a hole in the pocket with prices ranging from just $4 to $30. As Stefani went on to tell WWD,‘Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices,’ Stefani said.

Hurujuku Mini is due to go on sale across the U.S. on November 13, with a second due to hit stores in January 2012.
