Naomi Campbell: A Model Subject for TV

Naomi Campbell will trace her amazing journey from her humble beginnings in Streatham, South London to international fame as part of a new television series, CNBC Meets, hosted by Tania Bryer.
Leaving the runway to take a stroll down memory lane, the supermodel reflects on her life and discusses how her own fight to succeed has influenced her own charitable work.
The programme, due to air on September 28th, will also feature Campbell’s mentor, producer Quincy Jones, who lends insightful commentary about what drives and motivates the supermodel. If that isn’t enough to pique your interest, then perhaps exclusive interviews with Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes from the set of the latest Duran Duran music video which featured Campbell and other supermodels will make you want to tune in?
Campbell’s story is all the more powerful for the barriers which she has broken in her path to success. Until Campbell, the fashion industry had never held a black model in as high esteem as a white one, and through her charity work and campaigning Streatham’s finest continues to fight against discrimination within a notoriously elitist industry. Well worth a watch, we say!
