Marks & Spencer has finally released a taster of itsSpring - Summer 2014 advertising campaign, including the line up of its new Leading Ladies.

In a bid to represent a celebrate a mixture of all British talents and style, the brand gathered world famous, supermodels, pop-stars, award-winning actresses, designers and chefs for its latest campaign.

All the member of this eclectic mix of British female talents has at least two things in common: a strong personal style and inspirational life achievements.

The leading ladies are: music and style icon Annie Lennox OBE, Oscar-winning actress Emma Thompson, young and fashionable singer Rita Ora, TV chef Rachel Khoo, fashion guru Lulu Kennedy, Life Peer and campaigner Baroness Lawrence OBE, supermodel and activist Alek Wek, and structural engineer Roma Agrawal

The campaign, four tableaux images across quintessentially British settings shot by iconic fashion photographer Annie Leibovitz, was created to celebrate British women from diverse backgrounds and profession.

Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, M&S Executive Director Marketing and Business Development, explained: 'These dynamic Leading Ladies represent the unique and diverse women of a modern Britain.”

M&S is extremely proud to have convened such an extraordinary group of exceptional women; this campaign is the embodiment of true British style, quality, diversity and success.”

The new M&S collection will launch nationwide on 31st March 2014, and judging on the outfits presented in the campaign it will feature a graphic monochromatic palette, abstract prints, feminine pastels and shimmering metallics.
