LVMH boss says 'Gallia-no'
Rumours swirled at the weekend that John Galliano might be allowed to make a return to the designing world, taking back his role at the helm of the eponymous brand 'Galliano' However, talk has been quashed today by LVMH chief Bernard Arnault, who has said that there's no way back for the troubled designer.
Bernard told The New York Times,'He will not be working for LVMH'. He added that after the infamous incident in Paris, Galliano 'didn’t have the simple politeness to contact me.' While Sidney Toledano, the chief executive of Dior, has told the court that the company had been worried about Galliano's behavious for a while, 'There were concerns, and we warned him officially. I’ve talked to the lawyers for years.'
So, what next for Galliano?
