Lucy is still in disguise
When the Daily Mail printed stories last week that Lily Allen's vintage boutique, 'Lucy in Disguise' was close to collapse after some poor business decisions and disappointing sales, the singer was furious. She tweeted to her followers 'If any other publication wants to write deliberately misleading articles about Lucy in Disguise, feel free, I WILL sue you.' Fighting talk in anyone's books. Now Lily has calmed down enough to talk to Vogue about her plans for the future of the company.
Lily told Vogue, 'I'm really excited that Lucy in Disguise continues to expand with the planned opening of a brand new shop and the expansion of our online business.'
While a spokesperson said, 'Our Covent Garden space was a nine month pop-up store that helped us successfully launch the Lucy in Disguise concept and this current move was always part of our plan. Lucy in Disguise is pleased to announce we have a new store. As we develop this exciting new space on 48 Lexington Street which will open in August, we are able to welcome our customers to our pop-up store just around the corner at 3 Lowndes Court.'
