Lanvin for H&M - first glimpse!
The first image from Lanvin's soon-to-be-released collaboration with H&M has been leaked into cyberspace and, fashion fans, it's a winner. Vogue reports that the collection will be in stores on November 23rd and, judging by the first glimpse of this image, it's a definite hit. Offering Lanvin glamour at high street prices, it's the most exciting collaboration yet for H&M and is sure to sell out very fast.
H&M's collaboration with Commes des Garcons in 2008 sold out almost immediately, with queues winding all the way down London's Regent Street on launch day.
Lanvin's artistic director explained the decision to collaborate with H&M to Vogue: 'I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.'
