Lager With A Splash of Fashion
Italian label Moschino has provided the wardrobe for a brand new short film directed by Gabriele Muccino, commissioned by beer-makers-turned-film-company Peroni Nastro Azzurro.
The film, called Senzo Tempo, is set in sixties Rome and explores Italian style and heritage. We won’t spoil the (admittedly very short) plot for you, but rest assured it features of the classic hallmarks of Italian life – a handsome man, a beautiful woman, lots of Peroni advertising and some very exquisite clothes.
Costume designer Angelica Russo told Vogue about the collaboration with Moschino’s creative director Rossella Jardini: ‘Rossella is a charming and elegant woman, who brings such attention to detail and passion to the world of fashion. It was a very important experience for me because Rossella, and therefore Moschino's fashion, allowed me to interpret my vision in which cinema and fashion can still make people dream. I see a great creative synergy within these fields, in both of which Italy has a tradition of excellence.’
