Renee Zellweger launched her specially designed, limited edition bag for Tommy Hilfiger at a swanky event, all in aid of charity.
The Bridget Jones star has created the design to raise for Breast Health International, an organisation which supports education and research into breast cancer. She told the Telegraph: ‘Because of the experiences of close friends and family members who have had to endure and battle the challenges of breast cancer, I am a passionate supporter of breast health education and charitable causes.’
Hilfiger has supported the charity by working with a celeb for the past four years. He says: ‘I am very proud to be supporting Breast Health International for the fifth year running. With the limited edition bag series, we've been able to contribute to building breast cancer awareness, raise funds for the organisation, and offer our consumers an opportunity to contribute in their own way. I am very pleased to work with Renee Zellweger, whom I consider to be a great talent, for this year's edition.’
Apparently Renee opted for no less than four outfit changes over the course of the evening – perhaps to show just how adaptable the bag could be. If you want to…ahem…bag one (sorry) for yourself, head to Hilfiger flagship stores or tommy.com on April 15th. The bag costs €299, with €100 from each sale going to Breast Health International.
