Gwyneth Paltrow teams up with Michael Kors for a capsule collection

Multifaceted Gwyneth Paltrow will be making still another foray in the world of fashion when she teams up with Michael Kors to create a one-off capsule collection for her website, Goop.com.

Goop is a digital media and e-commerce company that was founded by the blonde American actress in 2008, which not only gives fashion advice and proposes limited edition collections, but also gives tips on recipes, travel, wellness as well as cultural notes.

After collaborations with Matthew Williamson and Stella McCartney, the 41-year old Oscar winning Paltrow will be co-operating with her old friend Michael Kors – they’ve known each other for almost twenty years - for this upcoming holiday season with a capsule collection that will be available from December on the Goop.com website.

The new collection is inspired by the actress's personal wardrobe and her favorite vintage pieces from the designer’s past collections, which have been reinterpreted for the occasion using her creative input and eye.

"Michael's clothes are gorgeous, staple, American classics that never go out of style," said Paltrow to Women's Wear Daily. "I thought it would be wonderful to reinvent some of my favourite vintage Michael Kors looks that I have kept for years, that I wear over and over."

Some of the models that will be included in this exclusive, limited-edition ready-to-wear collection, will be a Kors peacoat updated with metallic buttons, a peplum turtleneck and a cashmere cape, besides other pieces and accessories that come from the Michael Kors Collection and Michael Kors lines.

Kors said that Goop's customers are "chic, smart and busy" and are a "perfect match for everything I believe style can be."

Last spring, People magazine named Paltrow as the most beautiful woman of the year, and she is also the face for this year’s Max Factor’s 'Glamour Statement Vision' beauty campaign.
