Fashion's Night In

As the nights get colder and the days get shorter, many a fashionista will consider shrugging off her sartorial responsibilities and hibernating in front of the X Factor for a few months. Who wants to go trudging down the high street through the rain when you could be at home, debating the qualities of Dannii's hair extensions?

Well that problem may be solved thanks to Vogue's Fashion's Night In on the 1st November. Following on from the success of the style bible's Fashion's Night Out, this shopping event aims to encourage spending online, from the comfort of your own sofa. Online retailers involved in the initiative include my-wardrobe.com, Asos, Net-A-Porter, Matches, Browns, Space NK and Astley Clark, who will all be offering discounts, sales and style advice. Vogue will be tweeting and blogging live throughout the night, which kicks off at 5pm and runs until midnight.

CEO of my-wardrobe.com, Sarah Curran, told FashionUnited.co.uk 'Fashion’s Night In is going to be a unique event in the fashion calendar, which brings together leading e-tailers on a global platform for one night only, celebrating the phenomenal growth of fashion retail'.
