Debenhams reveals exciting plans
Debenhams has some very exciting collaborations lined up for next year, with Preen, Jonathan Saunders, Roksanda Ilincic and Jonathan Kelsey creating collections especially for the high street store, reports Vogue.
The project, called Edition, is due to be on sale in spring 2011 and promises to bring high-fashion design to consumers at high street prices, with clothes ranged between £18 - £190.
Each label will work with the brand for a minimum of four seasons, so there’ll be plenty of chance to grab a few special items for your wardrobe. Preen told Vogue: ‘The collaboration with Debenhams is especially exciting because of the accessibility it will give to the Preen brand. We have created a range for Debenhams that will offer contemporary style that is easy to wear and in keeping with the Preen handwriting. We thought about real women across all ages during the design process; so there will be something for everyone regardless of shape or age.’
We’re loving all these designer/high street collaborations - next spring is looking super-chic and super-kind to the purse. Hurrah!
