David Beckham Bodywear collection for H&M
H&M had debuted their fourth collection of David Beckham Bodywear for this 2013-2014 Fall and Winter.
The first bodywear collection designed by Beckham for H&M was released in February 2012, and each new collection is now eagerly-awaited for.
The new ad campaign for the Swedish brand was photographed by Josh Olins, and naturally features the former English footballer, who retired from the playing field last May.
The 38-year old is smouldering hot, as he broodily – some call it the thousand yard stare - poses shirtless and in other states of undress, back in a tiled locker room and wearing loungewear, boxer briefs and track pants.
Beckham previously teased his thousands of fans with some of the campaign shots on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with selected items from the collection, and H&M later released a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot.
Talking about the latest collection with H&M, Beckham said, “When I started my bodywear range with H&M, I wanted it to be based around a core range of products that are available all year round. As we go into winter, it’s great to have pieces for lounging with family and friends at home.”
"I love the heritage athletic style of the new pieces in my Bodywear collection at H&M. The vests, pyjama pants and raglan sleeve tops are already like wardrobe favorites for me that I know I’ll wear all season long.”
He also added, "It was great to shoot them in an old-fashioned East End changing room. It was like I had gone right back to my roots."
Despite his international fame on and off the field, Beckham still can’t wrap his his head around the billboards, “No matter how many campaigns I do for H&M, I don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing my image on huge billboards everywhere,” he told WWD.
The David Beckham Bodywear autumn collection is now present in 2,800 H&M stores worldwide, in 49 different countries, as well as online.
