His dresses sell for upwards of £1,000 on Net-A-Porter.com, and his celebrity clients include Sienna Miller, Thandie Newton and Cat Deeley, but now Matthew Williamson is opening up to the general public with an exclusive collection for iconic US department store Macy's, reports the Daily Mail.
With prices ranging from $50 to $120, the limited edition collection is highly affordable and likely to be a huge hit with the public who are eager to wear Williamson's signature style of boho prints and bold colours.
The line is due to launch next month, with an advertising campaign starring Dree Hemingway (great-granddaughter of Ernest). Williamson explained that 'The collection aims to capture the essence of the mainline brand, with a focus on effortless glamour, dynamic prints, loosely structured silhouettes and pops of strong colour.'
If the lure of a cut-price Matthew Williamson dress isn't quite enough to convince you to hop on the first flight to New York, you'll be pleased to know that the collection will also be available online from macys.com/impulse from April 13th. We can't wait!
