Bizarre fashion story of the day
The worlds of high fashion and mass-produced chocolate have collided, with the possibility of a high court battle. The matter rests on a high concept McQueen show from 2006, where an ethereal Kate Moss hologram glided around the stage. Fast forward to 2010, and a similar image has appeared on our screens, enticing us to buy bars of chocolate.
Cadbury have rebuffed any copying claims, saying, Perez Hilton,'This is about Baillie Walsh's work. It was his house style that attracted us rather than any previous work he had done. The Alexander McQueen show is not relevant. His previous work was one of many of our visual references but not the only one. We would not accept the charge of imitation.'
