Belt it like Beckham
First there was Posh, who after being the (relatively) silent fifth member of the now second biggest girl band in UK history decided to set up her own highly successful fashion label. Then came Becks, her husband and possessor of the famous golden right foot, victor of many a game against the England squad.
That's right, you read it here first: David Beckham is to set up his own menswear fashion line, after talks with well-known Italian brand Armani revealed that there is a significant niche-market for well-fitted men's bodywear, Vogue online reveals.
'With my team we have spent time working on the fit, the fabric and the style to ensure the product looks and feels the very best and I am hugely proud of the end result,' [David discloses].
'I can't wait to show people the collection — although I'm not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again.'
Maybe not, but we're sure Mrs. Beckham will be more than happy that David will exploring a franchise that could be worth millions of dollars.
