A Festival of Fashion

London was a hive of glamour last night as celebrities and ordinary-folk alike filled the capital’s shops for Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out.

The event has become a global hit, with Vogue-endorsed parties also happening in New York, Sydney and Paris. London’s Fashion’s Night Out kicked off at the Emporio Armani Store on New Bond Street, with celebrity attendees including Gemma Arterton, Claudia Schiffer and Jonathan Rhys Meyers joining UK Vogue editor Alexandra Schulman and Mr Armani himself, who told Vogue: ‘London is one of my favourite cities, and Vogue is of course known to be an important reference in the world of fashion, so I will be delighted to join Alexandra Shulman at my New Bond Street store to celebrate this great global fashion initiative’.

Over at Bruton Street Gwyneth Paltrow was hosting Stella McCartney’s boutique event, whilst Yasmin Le Bon and Manolo Blahnik knocked back the champers at Liberty’s and Christopher Kane and Erdem proved their sewing prowess by customising T shirts at Selfridges.
